Sunday, July 15th from 9 am-3 pm, WindRiver Marina will host Boat Rides 4 Vets. The East Tennessee veteran’s event is sponsored by VFW Post 12135 and is open to all veterans and their families living in East Tennessee.

Veterans and their families are invited to enjoy a free day cruising, tubing and fishing on Tellico and Ft. Loudon Lakes. WindRiver Marina will be the boarding and departure point for all boats.

Please spread the word to any East Tennessee veterans you know. This event originated as a way for boat owners to say, `thank you,’ to our veterans and has become a blessing to everyone involved, veterans, families and volunteers alike.

More captains and boats of all kinds are always needed!
